It looks like Best Buy is feeling some heat from Verizon offering the Motorola Xoom for $599 on a 2-year plan. Best Buy initially required that you activate at least one month of day service when you got the Motorola Xoom from them. The price would still be $799 and there was a $35 activation fee. This really made the choice of buying from Verizon easy, but thanks to our tipster Best Buy is now telling employees that there is no one month activation requirement.
